I haven’t found a book about death and grieving that compares to this one. I highly recommend it not only for those who have lost, but for those close to those who have lost and need some answers. I lost my twin brother tragically at 26 in 1999 and read this book shortly after. It is by far the best. It is honest and real. I often find myself quoting or making reference to it. A heartfelt thank you to the author. You have helped me through some tremendously dark days.
Barnes & Noble
My brother gave me this book after my daughter was killed in May 02. There is no way that I could have survived without reading this book and understanding my reactions, physically and emotionally. I am now a chaplian with my State Police and will be purchasing these books to hand out for others who have to suffer such a loss.
GoodReads
This was an easy, short read thick with insight and advice. Highly recommend for anyone who has experienced the death of a child / children. Especially good for those who may not be big readers. It’s short, sweet & concise.
