This is my absolute favourite book of all time. I was given this book by my parents when I was about 8 years old (just before my cat passed away). I must have read the book five or six times and each time I cried my eyes out! I teach 3rd grade now and am planning on sharing this book with my students. It touches on a very difficult and real issue in a very subtle and natural way. Kudos!!!
